This is quicky post, but this was just too good to pass up. BEHOLD, my child's kindergarten school picture. He loves it. He asks if he can sleep with a copy of it at night. Needless to say, I got "Rainbow Day" and "Picture Day" mixed up. Maybe I'm not cut out for this mother-of-a-kindergarten-kid thing. Good thing I have a camera of my own!And too show just how much Xanny loves FootHILL Elementary, he drew a picture of him in front of his favorite school.

i have an identical picture of liam in first grade. with the rainbow pullover and the hair sticking up on the side. oh well. they can't all be as fabulous at taking pictures of our gorgeous sons as we are.

That's the kind of picture you need to look at when you are having a bad day! You can't help but smiling...or laughing when you see it. The unselfconscious joy of being 5 and 11/12ths.
THe picture also does tribute to your photography --- I don't think (maybe because youv'e never posted) I've ever seen a Xan mug shot...hamming it up for the camera. Say CHEESIE FOR ME! ;-)
