Hey Lady -- Step away from the paint can!

I love Jesus, but I paint a little.

It's midnight. My husband is in India and I picked the wrong blue.

Let me rephrase that. I BOUGHT 5 GALLONS OF THE WORST GLOWING NEON TURQUOISE (shocking) AND JUST PAINTED THE WHOLE "*%&*$#" DOWNSTAIRS BEDROOM WITH IT ANYWAY. (Sorry, Marco.)
Do you ever feel like you have more determination than skill?

And the worst part ... it's semi-gloss instead of satin. I know.

TOO LATE NOW!

Where's a picture of this disaster? That's okay Andi I once tried to paint my kitchen a pale green, but when finished thought it looked blue. So then a friend told me try the cheap paint at Walmart it's just as good. Not!!! I did but it didn't go as far. I really liked the color, but you end up spending more than you would if you paid for the more expensive one at first. So then I couldn't match the color because it was not on the can, and it was a different brand than normal. So off I went back to Home Depot, and bought the Behr brand I really like, and trust. I will not buy any other brand now. It looked great when I finished this time, but was not cheap. After painting the kitchen 3 times in 1 week. Crazy, hunh! It was better than living with something I really don't like. Gratefully my hubby is understanding and really loves me. He wants me to be happy, cause if I ain't happy he ain't happy. Who knows some day you may look back at your glowing nightmare and laugh.

Whoops! I have a can of almost black purple. I haven't found the right place for it to coat.

Can we see a photo? I bet it looks glorious. I can see how it might be a little overwhelming though.

The Right Blue is always so elusive. Semi-gloss? Well, if you're going to paint it wrong, might as well go all the way with it. Love to see some documentation.
