If you are anywhere else than Utah, this is what you missed at 6:30 am. Sorry for you. (Sorry for your mother!) (Maybe I need more sleep.)

p.s. Yes we DID! Congrats to Pres. Obama.
It's Zina's birthday! She was born on a crystal clear November day (not like today!). It was a "Sabine" kind of day with the feeling you get from biting into a cold apple fresh off the tree. For you, Zina, I put together a small collection of just a few of my favorite girl pictures from this year.

I love you so!
This is an old picture of Xanny, but I love it. Below is the poem that EVERY Davis must commit to memory before passing to the other side of five.
Here's to another year of bad hair cuts and general scampiness. (It's a Xanny thing.) Oh, how I love you!!
1.) "Mom, is remodeling a genetic disease?"
2.) "Quick! Someone call Child-Protective-Services! I'm only 3 and can't dial on my own."
3.) "Let's see, do I saw the island in half with this thing or do I slit my wrists with it?"
This is quicky post, but this was just too good to pass up. BEHOLD, my child's kindergarten school picture. He loves it. He asks if he can sleep with a copy of it at night. Needless to say, I got "Rainbow Day" and "Picture Day" mixed up. Maybe I'm not cut out for this mother-of-a-kindergarten-kid thing. Good thing I have a camera of my own!
I know, three post in the entire month of September. What does that mean? Maybe I am coming out of the slump. Yesterday we cruised up the mountain to get some killer shots of my bro's fam. You gotta love a good trampoline pic. I think they may pick this one as their Christmas card this year.
