Today is Picture Day

Somehow I got roped into taking ALL the school pictures for my kidlette's preschool. (How often do you get the chance to say, "Today I shot 97 children at a preschool." Sorry.)

All I can say is you never know before snapping the picture, which kid is photogenic and which one is going to look like a deer in the headlights.
Case in point ... Above we have instant charisma and charm. Below is definite DDITH (a dear-deer-in-the-headlights).

It is the same thing every time I have a random photo moment with people everywhere. I always think, "Oh, he's going to be great to take pictures of!" and then I look at the back of the camera and find myself double checking my camera settings. Nope, it ain't the camera!

Some people have just got it ...

... and others have to work at it a little harder.
(Sorry, Zina. Of course it would be the photographer's kid that has a bad picture day.)

97 children! My patience is worn thin just thinking about it. You deserve an award.

It was my way of giving back. And in return Zina and I got a stomach virus ... or a bad gall bladder ... I can't tell the difference.

seriously it was all worth it for those first two little boys...how happy are their parents?!
I got the gall bladder surgery 2 years ago and they can find if you have stones with an ultrasound if you feel like getting one...because infected gall bladders aren't pretty. The Dr. Said mine was black!

KJ - That second kid is Xan's best friend who is also named Alexander born the same day as Xan.

Jen - cute because they are all latin.

Erin - Black gall bladders are my new worst nightmare.

Brooklyn - Maybe if all the kids were desnudo I would be Annie Lebowitz of Ut.
