Goode Co. BBQ

On the corner of Kirby and Barlett is the best BBQ joint in Texas, Goode Co. You can't miss it, just look for the GIANT child-eating-longhorn-armadillo. It was the classic steamy Houston night when you can see the air because of extreme humidity. And this is in ... February?

Yes, the Goode Armadillo Bar offers dominoes, one hundred different types of beer and fantastic people watching.

Yellow lights and out door picnic tables covered in sloppy BBQ, jalepeno bread and the best baked beans with apples ever were good medicine for the February winter blues. We didn't try any of the 100 different beers.
Marco's BYU Law School team (pictured above, sort of) participated in a mute court at University of Houston, placing 3rd. It was nice to tag along. Not even my really bad attitude toward the Law School's terrible treatment of their faculty could ruin the trip. Go Cougars!

(Next stop: Dallas.)

the tag is easy and fast and random.

shoot, I'm scared of that armadillo all the way from Sandy! Also I get really disoriented in yellow light like that. It makes everything just too hard to see.
glad you're back. We need to come play in your play house...in your kitchen...

Mirjam - finally I got around to the tag!

Katie - I should have brought you one.

Geo - Actually, Zina hated the beast!

Erin - I think his red little eyes were searching the northern country for you, mrs. sanchez!
