I found this the other day in my mom's house. Some of you might remember it. It was the invitation to an art show I did at
BYU. The picture is of my mom, Diana (on the right), and my aunt Julie that I photo-shopped. My Grandpa Nutter (yes, his name was Gilbert Nutter) was a photographer and postman in California and he would set up these corny shots of my mom and her sister to send into Time magazine.
Now that I am back in Utah I think this image best describes my feelings of re-entry. BTW -- by way of warning, my kids are so sick that you should probably wash your hands after reading this. Anybody
else's kids have this?

Was this for your installation art show at the truman?
It was for the Truman show. Ahh, those were the days. Do you remember Robin Clifford's "closet doll" piece we stuck in the closet? Hee, hee.
that was a great show. i always think about the crib piece and the fish that kept croaking. but all those memories are swirled together. i want to see your pics of it.
I actually don't have pictures of that show. Someone was going to do a documentary about it and even filmed all the art work in the house but she moved to NY before it was finished and I never got to see any of it. I think I even recorded a soundtrack for it with my singing friend Miriam. I'm glad you remember it!
Why did I miss this event? Was I on a mission? I keep trying to reach out and touch something but the hole is too dark and deep.
It was the fall Princess Di died. (See, you have to becareful what you call a person. She was doomed by her very name.)
