Bananas for Maxfield

This is Stuart, he lives in my basement. Stuart is a rockstar (and the brother of Andrew who is the husband of Liz.)

Good Morning Maxfield played on campus at BYU this week and I took my mini-groupies for a little homeschool music appreciation lesson. These guys are really good and you should go to their shows and buy some music from them. Check out http://www.maxfieldmusic.com/. Here is a YouTube of a live show at Velour.

After the show, I took my little rockers to the Twilight Zone to grab some lunch. They put on their own show for the 33,000 BYU zoobies by walking all over campus while chatting on their banana phones. They just looked so little next to the giant frosh of the Y.

(Hey Kim, isn't that a bee face on Xan's shirt?)

At one point I lost sight of Xan and later found him sitting next to some beautiful blond number in a snug sweater set. He was showing off his new red cast and impressing her with his bizarre knowledge of anatomy. Me -- "Xanny, I have been looking all over for you. No -- you don't not need to show her where her xiphoid process attaches to her costal cartilage and sternum. And get your hand off her anterior sacral foramina right now, young man! You are only 5 years old, for heaven's sake." Kids these days.

Raquel - It is nice being related to famous people. As for basements ... I wish I lived in your basement then I could use your hot tub.

Andi- have no idea who Good Morning Maxfield is but Jill Sobule is a new favorite-which means nothing I'm sure. You were right- blogging is becomming a huge habit-- not posting on mine, but just reading yours has taken up most of my Saturday afternoon. I've showed them to hubby and kids that visited. Somewhere in a past life we were related--we've discussed this before. Loved the picture of the Bishop Brave (actually remember this with surprising clarity) and Grandma Favorite's white leather piano is classic. My parents and hubby's also went to Hawaii together many years ago. Reading your blog has become a favorite spare time activity. (I get 6 minutes a week).

Those kids!—short but pleasing.

Judy! - I told you so. And maybe if I blogged less and worked out instead, someone would write an Andi at the Gym song for me. Thanks for Jill Sobule tip. Did you see my Flight of the Concorde post? I can see you really getting into them.

Geo - Oh I just hate it when my kids grow. They are just little morsels right now.
