Thanks to Whitney ...

Well, it's official. Thanks to Whitney, I went into debt for the first time in a long while. Innocently, I stepped into her photo shop expecting to come home with a new lens and instead I came home with a new camera. That was yesterday. It took a good 24 hours (and just as many phone calls to Whitney asking her if I did the right thing) to shake off the shock. Now comes the "fun" part of working for a living.

Email me if you need a bargain on a family portrait or a wedding photographer (or a window washer, a dog walker, a feng shui consultant -- anything that might pay yesterday's tab.) Write to andipitcher@aol.com. You better hurry. Once I get the shot of Richie Sambora and Lindsey Lohan holding hands in drug treatment (over the back fence), my prices are going up!

write us in for a family portrait if you're ever in SF or San Jose. last year we were desperate for a Christmas picture for my Mother in Law's christmas present (her request) and everything was booked and our camera was broken. our whole family ended up perched up on the kiddie kandid stand with fuzzy blanket the night before we flew out. my face is red from humiliation in all the pictures.

This is so delightful. I am so glad this day has come. You will be a terrific photographer. May the flash be with you.

Brooklyn - I kind of like those Sear's 70's photo studio shots. Did you all look at an imaginary point somewhere off in space? I will have to check my calendar and see when we are in SF again.

Kim - You don't mean flash as in someone running down the street naked ... or do you?
