My kids love pickles but they make them wink! Xanny is going to be a cook or a reality TV idea guy. He can almost daily be heard saying something like, "You know what is really, really tasty? Pickles and sugar cookies where the pickle is ON the cookie and then you eat it together. That's really, really tasty."
Later in the afternoon we headed down to the WWII memorial. It is between the Washington and the Lincoln but built low and wide so it will not block the view of the other memorials. Marco says it looks just like a Soviet Block memorial that are all over Russia. As luck would have it we happened upon one of my all time favorite things - A WEDDING PARTY.I really like bridesmaid #2 and her hoochie attitude.
Tomorrow we have to say good bye to Grandma. I would quote from Where the Wild Thing Are, (Please don't go. We'll eat you up we love you so.) but did you know that she doesn't like that book? She thinks it is really creepy. Instead we will quote from Zina. "Let's pretend that I am Tinkerbell and you are Tinkerbell's Grandma Betty - OK mom? That will be funny." Tomorrow is also P-day in South Africa so you should write Katie tonight. tesserkate@gmail.com. She got transferred last week and is back in her old area of Berea. She will be home in August so you need to write her today!!! (Hi Katie-bell)

I love the picture of the bride between the two people and of Betty Jo and the Brioche. Quality. I need to get me one of them digital slrs.
I think that is my favorite one also. Too bad I can't send her a copy.
Does Xanny really eat sugar cookie with pickles?
GRAMMY JO! :) Huzzah!
Oh and I love your pictures with a passion of a thousand firey suns!
Kim - he loved he cookie with the pickle. I think he has my bizzare food combo gene.
Kjirst - I was thinking about you all day. You don't want to know what I was thinking. . . I was thinking how much FUN you would have if you went on a mission! I would come and visit you and take lots of pictures. (I told you it wasn't what you wanted to hear.) All of the people who comment on my blog all went on missions and they are UBER cool. (and now I will stop preaching.)
Ha ha ha ha!
Missions are great--I'm a fan!
I just feel like I'm doing a lot of great teaching when I'm home with the people I work with--practically sharing the discussions while I'm making pancake breakfasts and cleaning beds. Answering questions and sharing the gospel; It can happen without a tag too ;)
For now, I'm content being RS president, and helping where I can. I'm where I need to be--pretty strong revelations on that.
So maybe there's a mission in my future, but I like to think that I'm fulfilling one right now too!
I LOVE YOU!
KJ- You are the best! You can't blame me for trying. The truth is that missions are really hard and all of us RMs just try to trick everyone else into going so we won't be the only ones out there with Post Tramatic Companionship Syndrome. I LOVE YOU TOO!
