The Colonade

At the Arboretum they have the original columns from the capital. In the 1890's the capital was remodeled and these were tossed in a junk yard until 1957. Someone got the great idea to set them up in the style of classic ruins. I have to say it has the desired affect.

Zina's discovered that the wind while driving will give her "Ariel-hair". She reaches out the window to catch the wind in her hand and wipes it on her hair and cheeks. "Oh thank you, wind! You have lots of Ariel power." - Zina Boo

She's two and the sun is shining brightly before her. What a life.

I tossed this shot in because this is what Xanny looked like as a baby - stalking threw the jungle.

Zina sort of looks like Xan in that Ariel picture.

Yeah - well if you could see the other 35 Davis grandkids, you would realize the great power of the Davis gene. About 33 of these kids (my kids included) look just like Betty Jo Page Davis. Hey, you are a Davis, Cindy. That is the answer.

About Me
