This morning we snuck a peak inside what use to be our market. This is Canales Quality Meats that has been in business for the past 35 years. Such a shame, all that good bacon burnt to a crisp. You could buy rabbit here - not that I did.
Here is the back door looking into the sweet shop where we would go for eclairs. Baby would sing "Good Morning everybody, everybody. Good morning everybody - I'm awake!"
They say it will take 24 months to rebuild. I don't understand why so long. Don't they build whole cities for movies in a week. That is what this really is - backdrop for the movie of people who live here.
