Houses of DC

This is George's house. My kids are a little obsessed with the idea that nobody can touch the president. Eventually I will have to get him into the White House. Every time we drive past he asks if he can go inside and touch George.

So the Queen has been visiting. You would think they would put her up in something fancy like this, but no. Look bellow.

Shhh! HRH Elizabeth the 2nd was asleep in this very building when I took this picture last night. I have to say I have seen nicer places in DC. And they didn't even have the decency to turn off that annoying street lamp? She's 81, people, she needs her sleep.

And last but not least for the day. The old saying goes; "If you have a problem, just paint it pink. Then it becomes someone else's problem." (I still don't get that.) This is our neighbors house that has gone from grey to pink then to orange and is quickly becoming APRICOT!

seriously Andi, why don't you ever update your blog or post pictures of your kids once in a while.

p.s. I really liked the "flat Katie" pictures.

I would like to post pictures of "flat Marsha" but . . .well, maybe I should stop there.

And there wasn't one picture of any of my kids it this post.

Is there any historic relevance behind the hotel they placed her in? Maybe the Queen just reserved the room on Expedia.

Location, location, location -
It's exactly across the street from the White House. I am sure there is more but the secret service shooed us away before I could read more.
