Yesterday was Hawaiian beaches and sashimi - today a 3 x 5 foot sandbox and cheap icecream. Note the dumpster-dive kitty litter boxes for chairs. Back to reality.
But for a two year old, it might as well be Hawaii.

What I didn't get a shot of was the little struggle between Zina and a homeless lady over her baby doll's stroller. Or the barefoot guy in the hospital gown and bandages around his wrists walking down the street who yelled at Xan for not holding my hand as we crossed the street at G and 8th SE. And then there was the 8 jets who flew over the park in formation, twice. I love this city.
