We started off with a morning full of fevers. Xanny is a rubber ball when it comes to being sick. This morning he crashed and just as quickly he rebounded. A little blue sky and smiling kid can only mean one thing. Field trip!

I have been waiting a long time to go see this exhibit. It would completely and totally gross out just about everyone of my close friends and family with the exception of Kim and Xanny. (Shauna wouldn't even make it past the brochure.) Basically it is Chinese political (chain-smoking) prisoners who have "chosen" of their own "free-will" to "donate" their bodies to "science." At least that is how Marco explained it to our dinner guest tonight. You get the picture. My husband is a much more moral person than I am and boycotted the voyeuristic display and was serving the homeless soup downtown or doing some other good works in the world. I, on the other hand, grab my 2 and 4 year olds and said, "Hey kids, who wants to meet the REAL guts guy? Let's go." Over all, Kim and I thought there should be more education and less cool tricks. But my kids LOVED it - especially the dirty lungs.

After the bodies we moved on to birds. I walk over and see Kim snapping a lovely little picture of a dead bird in front of the . . .

That's right folks. Arlington VA has a the Berlin Wall - sort of. Behold below, the Berlin Wall and Kim's reinactment of the fall of the great wall. (She's a one woman revolution.) Speaking of the fall of the Berlin Wall, who here has seen one of our favorite international movies called "Goodbye, Lenin"? It came out about four years ago and should be added to your Netflix list.

Hey, this is Ann but I am signed in as Brian. We saw Bodies in Chicago a couple of years ago and LOVED it! Although, do they still have the guy in the funny hat and jazz hands who is cut down the middle and all splayed out? That was a bit crazy. I loved the horse too.
We look at your blog everyday. Thanks
Ann Hinckley Stucki I should say left the last comment. Just incase you cannot place Brian. Maybe there are other Brian and Anns in your life.
Ann - This show didn't have the horse or the jazz guy. I think I would like a horse better than people.
