Dear Katie in South Africa

Just one week ago we were talking to you on the phone!

Today is our last day in Hawaii. I hope you enjoy the blog this week. I have to say the highpoints of Hawaii were;
1. Sunny family skies
2. How great the kids did on the airplane on the way here.
3. Cold mornings on the Big Island.
4. The Big Island.
5. Xanny and the Fire Guys.
6. Definitely the Fiji dances of hip wiggling delight.
7. THE MARKET IN HONOLULU. I got you something and I will send it .
8. Kids and the beach.
9. Everyone going home before us so that I can walk around without a bra while I check my email.
10. The Hawaiian temple. I think you should get married there. If you get married in 4 years (perfect timing) then Xanny can be baptized in the ocean at the same time. That sounds like a great plan.

Oh - I forgot to add Rosalani ice cream to the list. Hawaiian Vanilla Bean with fresh verbena lemon juice squeezed all over it. I also ate grocery store sashimi (poke) picked up by the check-out stand next to the People magazines that was amazingly tasty and didn't even make me sick. But, then again, I will eat just about anything if it is sitting next to a People magazine in the grocery store - but that is a story for another day. Speaking of food . . .this was a true vacation because Pa did all the cooking. It was perfect Marco cooking with lots of fresh tuna steaks and bizarre-O veggies that are sliced and diced and cleverly disguised as eatable stir fry over whole wheat noodles. Hey - I think we should all come back for Thanksgiving this year! And Christmas!

OK - I am keeping this short again this week mostly because you can look at the blog for details. Actually I didn't write very much this week because I was so tired at the end of the day and I just couldn't stay awake any longer to post superfluous fluff.

Love you and I am going to get the google voice program when I get back this week. My goal is to have one of Xanny's prayers recorded and sent to you by next week.
