Hyper-Hibiscus

Our lovely B&B has amazing hibiscus bushes that Zina Boo likes to use as puppets. She wants to know why they can't talk for real. Here she is explaining that the yellow one is the Space Shuttle and the pink a giant asteroid. (This is a common theme for my children.)

And here is the giant collision of the asteroid and Space Shuttle (also a common theme for my children).

Marco says she's going to hate me for this picture when she's 14. The lemons are also from our Garden of Eden B&B. (Actually the B&B is called the Mountain Meadows Inn. They are lovely people but obviously not Mormons.)

Did you know our Grandma Betty is here with us? Here she is reciting the Hawaii alphabet which she learned at age 9 while musing on the nature of basking Hawaiian Sea Turtles. The only thing more Betty Jo Page Davis than this would be using all this information as the answer to a cross-word puzzle.

Pretty flowers! Excited to hear Zina's voice. She wasn't speaking at all the last time I saw her.

She has very suddenly turned into a "Chatty-Cathy" and loves the word "actually". Last week she asked if Heavenly Father lived in the Capitol.
