Sunday afternoon and we, of course, went to the Arboretum and look who showed up. OK, It's not the real Katie. We like to call this Flat Katie. We knew she would be checking in on our blog and this is our way of saying hello! Hi Katie - Xanny is poking you with a stick and you really appear to be enjoying it. It must be love.

It is a little like a nice dream of Xanny and Katie having a snuggle.
We also had another visitor, Uncle Alan Barker from Maine. We had a great weekend with him and showed him all around our Hill neighborhood. We also showed Katie around but she wasn't as, shall we say, flexible as Uncle Alan. It helps that Uncle Alan is three dimensional. No offense, Katie-Bell, but you are a little stiff.

It's sort of wacky that she's all glowy in the pictures.
I have a great spot to visit in Booth Bay Harbor, Maine. We have enough time to get up there this trip.
As for the picture. . . It was a really bad picture to begin with -low res and out of focus. It didn't quite make the leap to full size person blow-up. This is the one thing I would change about Liz's wedding. I feel like I did Katie wrong.
Well, you can't tell it's lo-res in the pictures and it has sort of an ethereal quality and she IS doing ethereal work!
